| Abstract: | The classification of the built-up edge is introduced.The cause of formation and the full course of built-up edge including growing up and dropping is discussed.The relationship between build-up edge and cutting condition,the effect of build-up edge in the process of cutting are analyzed.The measures to restrain the built-up edge are presented. |
