Hot Adhesive Technology:From Century to Century

Adhesive has been used for ages in human history and isnow more widely used in modern industry. Used less frequently than cold adhesive, hot adhesive,such as native asphalt,boasts a long history of service,but its qualities were not satisfactory enough until hot composite adhesive came into being,which was the result of the development of high - molecule industry in the 1930s. This new kind of adhesive has some fine qualities cold adhesive has never dreamt of and is especially suitable to packaging. This paper analyses the cause for the appearance of hot composite adhesive,describes its qualities and its application in packaging industry,discusses what should be done for improving purposes and predicts its possible development in the future.
