Design of a Flaring Die Used to Flare a Kind of Medical Interventional Catheter

As a new type of medical technique,intravascular catheterization has been applied to clinical therapy widely.Medical interventional catheter is an important part of interventional apparatus.It has small size and belongs to the minicatheter.This type of catheter needs precision work and requires high quality.A flaring die which can be used to flare a kind of medical interventional catheter was designed,the thoughts of designing flaring die were introduced and the technological conditions that affected the flaring quality were discussed.The flaring die adopts mechanical flaring and has many merits,such as simple structure,convenient operation and high flaring precision.
