A generalized Eulerian two-surface cyclic plasticity model for finite strains

Abstract:Summary A cyclic theory of plasticity is formulated for finite deformation in the Eulerian reference system. A new kinematic hardening rule is proposed based on the experimental observations made by Phillips et al. 11]–15]. The Tseng-Lee model 9] is also obtained as a special case of the proposed model.Qualitative examples are presented to demonstrate the behavior of materials under different loading paths using the proposed model. These include both proportional and nonproportional loading paths.
