| Abstract: | Several methods for synthesizing p - aminophenol were briefly evaluated with emphasis on synthesis of the above compound by catalytic hydrogenation of nitrobenzene. The reaction mechanism, some catalysts, reaction medium and surfactants in this process were described. |
