| Abstract: | The properties of lowC+N]ultra pure ferritic stainless steel are equal to those of austenitic stainless steel,but the price of the former is cheaper.With giant AOD and VOD refining units,Japan has produced a lot of ultra pure ferritic stainless steel of various grades at very low cost.Thus in many application fields,ultra pure ferritic stainless steel is taking the place of austenitic stainless steel.This article gives the direction to produce and apply ultra pure ferritic stainless steel in China. |
