分折了化学纤维产业及其他产业对地球环境的影响,日本的化纤产业与地球环境的影响程度约为1%.为保护大气环境卫生,日本化纤学会组织研究保护地球环境的对策和措施,提出了治理和攻关两方面的工作和开发研究的目标.

THE GLOBAL ENVIRONMENT AND CHEMICAL FIBER

The Japan chemical fibers association conducted an investigation on the relation of the global environ-ment and chemical fibers industry in Japan.This report takes as its subject matter the results of this investi-gating.The contribution of the chemical fibers industry in Japan to the global environment is about 10% with re-gard to emissions of industrial waste products in Japan such as carbon dioxide,CFSs,SO_x and NO_x.Steps for the preservation of the global environment can be taken in two ways,"defensive"and"offen-sive","Deiensive"contributions can be made at the factory level to promote energy and resource conserva-tion,and recycling.As counter-measures have been pursued exhaustively since the first Oil Shock,a com-pletely new,manifold concept covering all stages of the textile production process must be found.As for"offensive"measures seven themes of research and development are proposed.These are high-performance insulating fibers,intelligent-wear,high-performance oil-lense,textiles to promote flora andprevent desertification,textiles for prevention of destruction of tropical forests,easy decomposition andmonomer recovery of polymers,and superb soil-releasing textile.These themes would contribute not only achahce to improve the environment,but also major business oppotunities.
