星载遥感图像JPEG2000压缩算法去量化处理方法

摘    要:随着空间技术的发展,空间遥感图像的数据量呈几何级数增加。为了满足JPEG2000星载遥感图像压缩系统的实时性要求,不仅需要设计高速处理硬件系统,还需要对压缩算法进行优化和改进。分析了离散小波变换后拉伸提升算法和JPEG2000量化算法,提出了一种基于离散小波变换后拉伸提升算法的去量化处理方法,该方法可去除JPEG2000压缩算法中的量化过程,减少压缩算法的运算量。介绍了该方法的基本原理和定点实现。实验结果表明,应用该方法可以使JPEG2000压缩算法中拉伸和量化过程实现的时间降低50%。

A Quantification-removed Method for Satellite On-board Remote Image JPEG2000 Compression
Abstract:With the development of space technology, the data of space remote sensing image are expanding. To meet the real-time need of satellite on-board JPEG2000 image compression system, the optimization and improving for the compression algorithm, as well as the design of high speed hardware process system, are needed . Through analyzing the post-scaling lifting algorithm of discrete wavelet transform and quantification algorithm of JPEG2000, a quantification-removed method is proposed which can decrease the operations of JPEG2000 algorithm by removing quantification process. The principle and fix-point implementation of the method are presented in this paper. Experimental results show that when the method is applied to JPEG2000 encoding algorithm, the time for scaling and quantification can be decreased by 50%.
