This article describes some information about roof waterproof construction of a grain depot which is our country's major project. It mainly expounds, in the roof waterproof construction, the four principles("set up defences by grade, optimize materials selecting, construct by standard and economical and reasonable") must be followed. And some measures and working procedures should be strictly taken such as base floor cleaning, smearing with cold mastic, sticking on additional layer in particular places, laying waterproof roll?roofing in a large area, sealing rim and implementing working procedures that are the combination of drainage with water proof and setting up multiline defences. Moreover, the significance and experience in setting up defences by grade, optimizing materials selecting and constructing by standard are summed up in this paper.
