摘    要:探地雷达作为一种高分辨率无损探测新技术,具有探测速度快、定位准确、轻便灵活和图像实时显示等优点,已广泛应用于工程勘察的各个领域。高性能DDS(直接数字频率合成器)芯片AD9959是美国AD公司采用先进的DDS技术生产的4通道、10位D/A转换器、最高时钟为500MHz的高集成度频率合成器,可方便快速地产生线性调频、单频脉冲及步进频率信号。介绍了AD9959工作原理和特性,给出AD9959在超宽带步进频率探地雷达设计中的应用方案。

Abstract:As a new no damage exploring technique, GPR( Ground Penetrating Radar) has been a high exploring speed, precise orientation, portability and real-time image displaying, and has been used in the area of engineering reconnaissance. The high performance DDS chip AD9959 has 4 synchronized DDS channels @ 500 MSPS with 10-Bit DACs, and it can produce FMCW( Frequent Modeling Continuous Wave) , impulse and SFCW (Stepped Frequency Continuous Wave) signal quickly. This paper introduces the working principle and characteristic of AD9959, and shows the devise of UWB SFCW GPR based on the high performance DDS chip AD9959.
