| Abstract: | Today, cast iron is still the basic material got the most wide application and taking a important place in cast alloys. The output of iron castings is about 80% total output of castings in China. This paper has reviewed and analyzed the development of China's iron cast technologies in cupola smelting, electric furnace smelting and various cast iron alloys, and forecast its prospects in future. |
