Abstract:In order to investigate the demolition effect on the ice induced by double underwater explosions shock wave, Ansys/Ls-dyna simulation software was used to analyze influences of the phase spacing on shock wave breaking ice body in the ease of the detonation initiation at the same time, and contrast the peak pressure of shock wave with the one under the cirrcumstance of single explosion. Through the analysis of shock wave pressure and the shape of failure surface, the conclusions were drawn : in the case of the double simultaneous detonations, the shock wave was superimposed, and the pressure was larger than a single point nf shock wave pressure as well as damage effects were good; if phase spacing was too small, the middle part of the ice failure surface was too prominent and if tuo large, too small so as to disappear; the optimal phase spacing should be the 0.91 times the failure surface diameter of a single explo-sion.
Keywords:explosive shock wave  phase spacing  failure surface
