| 摘 要： | 讨论了实时视频图像压缩系统产生的技术条件和背景，介绍了实时图像压缩的几个基本概念。讨论了编码的实现方法和它们的特点。介绍了图像压缩的发展过程和当前成熟的算法标准。在文章的最后给出了两个应用实例。
