This paper explores the knowledge-base compiling technique to compile the rule-base of production system into a kind of digital network, which is the foundation of a digital network-based pattern match reasoning algorithm. The algorithm effectively solves the key problem of fast reasoning in the real-time expert system and has the ability to reason non-monotonicly and to treat asynchronous events. It realizes the uniformly processing symbolic and numerical information.and guarantees the reasoning response timely and reasoning results consistently.
