| Abstract: | The Acros Fukuoka is a facility attached much importance to environment design that has the huge atrium and the step garden. It is planed to provide green comfortable common space for the city with expanding continuously green space in the park toward the plot by setback building in tiar and planting green Therelore. the building triangle shaped in dimension is a proposal of symbiosis with the city green and building. In order to provide open space match with the Tenjin Central Park continucusty, it is designed that 40 percent of 100,O00 squate meter building to be basement space. and the tier from ground floor to roof in about 60 m height to be sky garden with plenty of green. People are able to enjoy variation of various mass trimmed plants in the step garden at changing four seasons The Acros Fukuoka is high public facility as a fusion of huge atrium as the center with office arid shops. and facilities of the prefecture related to international, culture and information like concert hall and Intemational convention center. The atrium is open welt from basement 2 to 12 stories high, glass screen at westside rise up gradually in lier large wall is provided at eastside with marble wide-angle curved in plan, and step garden overhang at each fleer, thus it is complex shaped apace with transparency feeling. |
