| 摘 要： | 以上海古籍出版社的《中国通手册》丛书为例，从功能翻译视角分析该丛书英译文中诸多的语言、语用、文化等翻译错误，深度剖析此类文本英译质量欠佳的主要原因及译者必备的职业素养，并重点探讨饮食、医药、古迹、建筑、风俗等中国文化遗产读本汉英翻译中景点名称、人名地名、朝代、中国特有文化概念词汇等承载的各种文化信息的处理策略，从而有效传递此类读本丰富的文化内涵，更好地传扬博大精深的中国古代传统文化。

| Abstract: | In view of the problematic translation of Chinese cultural heritage literature, this paper ten-tatively analyzes the array of linguistic, pragmatic, and cultural translation errors in the published series A Guide to China from a functional perspective. The causes of the problems and strategies for translating cultural information are determined, and the results can aid future translations. |
