| 摘 要： | 艺术生英语能力薄弱是比较普遍的现象，实施大学英语教材改革、创新教学模式和教学内容是切实可行的解决方法之一。介绍了浙江理工大学艺术生大学英语教材改革的原因和过程；阐述了《新编大学英语（第二版）》的5个优点）09级艺术生试用后的问卷调查、学生访谈和浙江省大学英语三级考试通过率等也表明《新编大学英语（第二版）》是一本适合艺术生学习使用的教材。

| Abstract: | It is a common phenomenon that students of art tend to have a low English proficiency, which is supposed to be approached by reforming college English textbooks, creating new teaching modes and updating teaching contents. The paper introduces the process and the reasons for the textbook reform in Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, and illustrates five advantages of New College English. Pass rate of CET3, surveys and interviews to art students of Grade 2009 confirm that the textbook suits them well. |
