Abstract: | Based on the assumption that a phase-slip center in a clean quasi-one-dimensional superconductor excites a collective oscillation, the time-averaged value of the electrochemical potential ![lang](/content/q338782970434479/xxlarge9001.gif) ![mgr](/content/q338782970434479/xxlarge956.gif) of quasiparticles is calculated. At larger distances from the phase-slip center, ![lang](/content/q338782970434479/xxlarge9001.gif) ![mgr](/content/q338782970434479/xxlarge956.gif) swings below (or above) the electrochemical potential ![lang](/content/q338782970434479/xxlarge9001.gif)
