昭通是彝族的重要发祥地之一，彝族自古以来对昭通的政治、经济、文化影响极大，彝族上层社会的建筑为研究昭通彝族文化和历史的变迁提供了重要的实物证据。文章通过昭通晚清民国时期彝族上层社会建筑的调查，对典型建筑案例进行了概述，分析了昭通晚清民国时期彝族上层社会的建筑特征和建筑文化，希望地方历史建筑的保护能够得到加强和重视。

An Overview and Analysis of Yi People's Upper Classes' Buildings in Zhaotong in the Period of Late Qing Dynasty and Republic of China

Zhaotong is regarded as one of the important cradle land of the Yi, who have exerted great influence on the politics, economy and culture of Zhaotong since ancient times. The buildings of the Yi people's upper classes provide an important tangible evidence for the study of Yi culture and its historical changes. Based on the field surveys and research of the Yi people's upper classes' buildings in Zhaotong in the Period of Late Qing Dynasty and Republic of China, this paper conducts a general overview of the typical buildings and analyzes their architectural characteristics and cultural connotation. It is hoped that the protection of local historic buildings can be strengthened and valued.
