Developments and Applications of Inorganic Membranes and Inorganic Membrane Reactors

There are many advantages for inorganic membranes,such as high intensity,easy-to-control pore size,chemical stability,thermo-stability,easy-to-regenerate and anti-aging.For these reasons,the inorganic membrane is one of important developing kinds of the membrane technologies and the membrane reactor is one of the typical applications.The development progress of inorganic membranes was reviewed,including their classifications and recent developments.The characteristics,types and functions of inorganic membrane reactors were also reviewed.The applications of inorganic membranes,the classifications and applied developments of the reactors were especially emphasized.The insufficiencies in industrialization of inorganic membranes and the reactors were also pointed out.
