| Abstract: | This paper presents an object - oriented hypertext database system O2HTS to support complex documentaion environments. The discussions emphosize on the data model and the implementation of the O2HTS system. The data model can represents structured hypermedia information blocks and various semantical relationships between them. It differs from conventional hypertext models in that it behaves like OODMs, and also from general OODBs in that its objects can be hypermedia and participate in normal hypertext links, and thus form a complex network. So O2HTS is an integration and combination of OO, HT/HM and DB technologies. |
