| Abstract: | Some structural problems of the brick masonry buildings with frame-shear wall at bottom,that should be considered in the stage of architectural and structural design scheme,are discussed in this paper.By the method of area ratio,the minimum amount of shear wall at bottom is determined preliminarily,which provides the necessary data for structural engineers to work out a reasonable structural layout. |
