The Case-based Reasoning for Artillery Design

This paper, using the case-based reasoning techniques, provides a very general and effective method and its organization ofdesign-case representation on basis of the methods of design-case representation provided by Navinchandra, Bardasz and Zeid I. It is themethod that design-case is represented by three levels: concept case, process case and element case. The paper also provides the definition ofdesign-case fopresentation, organization. retrieval method and the model of artillery design expert system for artillery general design. Itillustrates that the method can effectively represent raillery design experience, enhance the quality of design, make the design period shorten,be poweffully applied in altillery design.
