| Abstract: | Some part and mold design characteristics and guidelines for gas-assisted injection molding process are described in this paper. Comparing gas-assisted injection molding with conventional injection molding, the difference between them in the part and mold design are illustrated, and the advantages of gas-assisted injection molding are presented. |
