| Abstract: | The research progress on the function and utilization of D-ribose in recent years was reviewed, mainly including the effects of D-ribose on the function of heart, skeletal muscle and on the ability of exercise. The utilization of D-ribose in the medical health, the pharmaceutical industry and in the food industry was also discussed. |
