摘    要:事务窃取一直是困扰CPU与PCI总线实现协议通信的难题。针对通信专用CPU与PCI总线芯片内协议通信存在的事务窃取问题,提出了面向协议的命令级简化解决方案及其命令管理,FIFO组织结构以及硬件体系实现。该方案从协议层次出发,因此设计思想具有可移植性,并已经应用到了一种基于ARM核的32位通信专用CPU中。

Abstract:Completion stealing is a problem difficult to deal with in protocol communication between CPU and PCI bus. As to the problem existing in protocol communication between Telecom specific CPU and PCI bus, a protocol-oriented solution scheme is presented in this paper. The scheme simplifies the protocol at command level. Command management, architecture of FIFO and implementation of hardware are also discussed in detail. For the idea is protocol oriented, it can be easily transplanted to deal with other bus communication, and has been implemented in an ARM core based 32-bit Telecom specific CPU.
