Abstract:Most of the traditional antique buildings are made of wood structure.According to the traditional method of erecting wood structure,the lighter local wood is generally used and the construction site is relatively abundant.However,when the construction space is small and the building materials are heavy,the traditional installation method of large wood structure will be difficult to carry out the construction.Relying on the Wanshou Temple project in Nanchang,the traditional technology is innovated and improved,which can avoid the great hidden danger of safety in the installation of overweight wood columns,effectively deal with the unfavorable construction conditions brought by large size and small site,improve the construction efficiency,shorten the construction period,and have good social and economic benefits.
