Abstract: | GKN put a positive spin on its PM businesses for the first half of 2003 despite a dip in sales to ?318 million ($512 million). The company attributed the decrease to the dollar’s decline against the Pound and the Euro. Sales levels remained stable in the face of reduced demand from markets in North America and Western Europe.
