摘    要:In this paper,an one- and two-dimensional connected mathematical model is de-veloped.The two-dimensional characteristics of flow and sediment transport are considered asmuch as possible in the model.The model is calibrated with field data and applied to simulate theriver process of the fluctuating backwater region of the Three Gorges Reservoir.Some conclu-sions have been made based on the simulation results.
