| Abstract: | This paper describes the application of polar coordinates in deformation monitoring, illustrates the advantages and disadvantages of fixed azimuth distance measurement in the horizontal displacement tracking with practical examples, and makes corresponding exploration on the accuracy of this method and its application limitations. |
