Abstract:This paper described the technological study on extracting gold from copper-bearing ore disseminated with fine grained gold somewhere in Yulin Prefecture, Guangxi. An operation program of small scale was recommended and put into production with better result.The main process flow was calcine leaching of ore with dilute sulfuric acid for the separation of copper, then, leaching the slag with chlorine water followed by aantimony powder precipitation in pregnant solution. The gold loaded antimony powder was washed with water and dried, then, sending to melt into an alloy of antimony and gold. The alloy was then put on a grey utensil for smelting and finally cast into finished gold.
