Abstract: | The capabilities of advanced parallel computing methods in processing and identification of seasurface radar imagery are investigated. Their application for the real-time analysis of large-area images is justified. Based on the methods developed by the authors of this paper, estimates are given for the mass, dimensions, and power consumption of a special-purpose onboard processor needed for processing sea-surface radar imagery. |
