| 摘 要： | 智能车牌识别系统由图像获取、图像分割、数据库管理等几部分组成，图像分割部分在整个系统中的地位非常重要，因为图像分割质量的好坏直接影响到后端处理的效果，所以通过对人的视觉系统的分析，根据视觉特性对数字图像处理中的图像模型建立及图像分割技术进行分析和讨论，并以智能车牌识别系统实例说明其在实际中的应用。

| Abstract: | The automatic vehicle recognition system is made up of image fetching, image segmentation, database management etc., since the quality of image segmentation has a substantial effect on the quality of terminal processing, image segmentation has important station in the global system. By the analyzing human vision system, the paper discusses the image model and image segmentation technology based on vision character in digital image procession, and explains the application in practice by giving an example of the automatic vehicle plate recognition system. |
