A General-purpose Intelligent Visualization Framework

A general-purpose visualization framework is proposed for producing images through reasoning processes.The approach is significantly different from the usual ones: the visualizer retrieves visual information from a knowledge base which depends on an external source of data,in order to satisfy users' different visualization needs.The knowledge base is written by the user in a logic-based language and contains the declarations about visual objects,their interrelations and their geometric and retinal features.Furthermore,the methods of knowledge representing are presented,at the same time,a simple example is given to show its intelligence.
