| Abstract: | Two processes for the dewatering of vinyl chloride, i.e. drying with solid caustic soda and dewatering with coalescer, were introduced. The comparison of the cost and energy con- sumption for the two processes was carried out. It was indicated that the process with coalescer could better meet the requirement of PVC production. |
