Flood Management Strategy in the Juzhang River

Flood management thinking for the Juzhang River Basin is to transfer controling flood to management flood, set up a river basin management organization, provide spaces for flood retention, make use of flood water, considering issues of floods development, utilization and management in the Quzhang River Basin, according to the principle of a harmonious coexistence of human being with water. The other approaches includes improvement of ecological environment and construction, non-engineering measures and increasing bearing capacity of water resources.
