| Abstract: | Due to 5G network characteristics and its allocated frequency,network planning and optimization focuses on improving horizontal and vertical coverage,and SSB broadcast beam and its beamforming gain are the key point to improve network coverage.This paper studies the influence of the SSB beam configuration on the coverage and access performance in 5G NR networks.Combining simulation and test results,the paper analyzes the difference comparison of different beam configurations of SSB broadcast channel.Finally,the principles and suggestions are proposed to design horizontal and vertical multi-layer beam for three-dimensional coverage scenarios,which provides a certain direction for coverage planning and optimization methods of 5G network in outdoor complex scenarios. |
