新型定向井PDC钻头的研制与应用

针对常规PDC钻头在胜利油田临盘区块定向井钻井施工中，工具面不稳定、难以控制、滑动钻进时钻压较小、钻速低的问题，研制出了一种新型定向井PDC钻头。该PDC钻头采用短剖面形状，特殊双重切削布齿结构，又对钻头进行了力平衡设计，把钻头的侧向力减到最小，增加了钻头工作时的稳定性。在临盘区块多口定向井的现场应用表明，新型定向井PDC钻头滑动钻进时钻压变化的敏感度小，工具面可控性好，复合钻进机械钻速和定向井机械钻速较常规PDC钻头都有较大幅度提高，且提高了钻井和下套管效率及井身质量。

Research and Application of A New PDC Bit in Directional Drilling

For the problems occurred during using PDC bits in Linpan area of Shengli Oilfield, including instability of tool face, breakage of PDC, high wear of bit crown, low penetration rate, a new PDC bit was developed for directional drilling. This new bit, with short bit profile shallow inner cone and double cutter structure, was designed considering the dynamics balance. The stability was increased by reducing the side load on the bit. The field applications in Lipan indicate that this new PDC bit has better performance in pressure fluctuation, better controlling of tool face, and higher penetration rate. The drilling and casing efficiency and well quality was improved as well.
