Study on the classified supporting of underground roadway in Chang'an Gold Mine

The geological and technical mining conditions in Chang'an Gold Mine are so complicated that the existing supporting technology does hardly meet the requirements of roadway supporting in underground mining operation.Combined with the engineering geology and hydrogeological conditions in the mine,site investigation and analysis on the instability mode and supporting status of the roadway were carried out,the surrounding rock of the mine was classified according to the results from the field engineering geological survey and the indoor mechanical experiment and the roadway support conditions in mine as well as evaluation of rock quality.On this basis,combined with the characteristics of ores,function of roadway,section dimension,service life,structure surface and failure mode,a classified support program was proposed,which is mainly based on bolting and shotcreting and assisted by metal support,and the supporting forms and parameters were put forward corresponding to the surrounding rock of the upper and lower panel and orebody.The results can be provided as reference for the construction,design and management of the mine.
