Abstract:The authors studied the radiation crosslinking of high density polyethylene(HDPE) containing sensitizer pentaerythritol triacrylate(PETA) and antioxidant 4,4'-thiobis(6-tert-butyl-m-cresol) under high energy electron beam.The influences of radiation dose and mass contents of the sensitizer and antioxidant on the crosslinked HDPE were determined through testing crosslinking degree,tensile strength and tangential breaking strength of the samples.The crystallizability and heat stability of the crosslinked HDPE...
