| Abstract: | A new method is proposed to determine the excited torque and bearing load of the injection pump camshaft by means of measuring the longitudinal strain in the bottom part of the plunger. The discussion is made on the characteristics of the excited torque and bearing load obtained in home-made No. 2 pump with symmetric contact cam profile. Some effects of the barrel pressure, and the spring inertial forces on the excited torque and bearing load are revealed. |
