Abstract: | Discusses the failures of mainstream psychology in finding solutions to human misbehavior and unhappiness. Physiological psychology held promise for bringing fresh air into the study of psychological problems, but is probably destined to failure because of neglect in psychology departments and the greater emphasis in medical schools on the behavioral sciences, which would make physiological psychology redundant.
