| Abstract: | Classification, performance requirements and test methods of chemical industrial use protective clothing are introduced in this paper on the basis of the NFPA standard system and the European standard system respectively. Characteristics and protection mechanism of the materials often used in fabricating chemical industrial use protective clothing are also presented. The principle on how to select and use the chemical industrial use protective clothing is proposed with the future development trend of the chemical industrial use protective clothing also described Great emphasis is laid on the necessity for developing chemical industrial use protective clothing in our country. |
