Re-thinking of Regional Characteristic for Architecture under Globalization Context

Globalization and Regionalization is not just on the opposite way. The other feature of globalization reflects the interchange and syncretism between regional culture and so-called streamline culture. This will remotivate people's passion and confidence to rebuild regional culture. It is not contrary between emphasizing regional characteristics and perceiving the integration of world architectural culture. Cultural characteristics, in specific, humanistic characteristics relating deep-rooted framework of architectural culture, is most likely to become the essential characteristics of developing economies. Thus, we should think the inherent relationship between modern architecture and traditional regional culture on the height of philosophy, only so we can inherit and innovate tradition.
