| Abstract: | By using a shear wave velocity measuring system fixed on a cyclic triaxial apparatus, the shear wave velocity of clay sampled from an area in Tianjin is tested. By comparison there is a differece between the results of laboratory and field tests. It is found that the differece is directly related to the depth of earth and the content of clay particle. |
