| Abstract: | The structure and braking principle of the asynchronous motor with a taper rotor are studies in this paper. The computation method of the rotating inertia and the braking time are discused and the formulae of the braking time for both no - load and full load are given. At last an example is given to illustrate the implementation of the proposed formulae. |
