Summarization of Predictive Control in Process Industry

This paper provides a summary about the studies and application of predictive control in process industry. It reviews the development of predictive control at first.Beside the studies about the integration of predictive with adaptive control and internal model control are expounded.Then from the point of view of predictive models,the paper also discusses the research about the predictive control for nonlinear control.At the same time,the survey about the studies on the integration of predictive with intelligent control is given.Lastly the paper presented a brief account of some exiting problem and develops direction in predictive control study.
