| Abstract: | This paper gives the principal technical specifications and test methods for optical fiber and cable products. The relations among the transmission capacity, repeater distance, splice loss of the fiber optic communication systems and the principal technical characteristics for optical fiber cables are analyzed and discussed. Then the paper also describes the basic principles and methods to acceptance of optical fiber cables. |
