Union building for you all [History]

This paper presents the history of a professional society, American Institute of Electrical Engineers (AIEE). The institute was formed for the purpose of having a representative at International Electrical Exhibition. This article is a companion piece to the author's article on the Brokaw Mansion, the home of the Institute of Radio Engineers (IRE) before the 1963 merger.
