广州大学城建筑设计竞赛方案的"符号化"解读

以符号学理论为分析工具,对广州大学城建筑设计竞赛中标方案中符号的形式与内涵层面进行了分析与解读,通过分析得出具体的建筑形式就是建筑符号的"符征",而建筑实体形态背后所表达的内涵就是建筑符号的"符旨",在建筑符号中,不变的是符旨,变的是符征.一个完美的建筑作品不是符号的堆砌和任意拼凑,建筑符号的意义表达通常是内涵重于处延.方案对符旨的准确领会是能否中选墓丶?而根据符旨选择恰如其分又具有视觉冲击力的符征是方案能否中选的主要因素.建筑设计要把意义与形态分离,先把握意义,再选择手法,避免陷入手法主义的误区.

Semiotical review for architectural design of GZHEMC

Using the semiotical theory to unscramble the architectural design competition of GZHEMC by the form and connotation level of sign,this paper draw a conclusion that "signifier" stands for the specific form and "signified" stand for the meaning of construction in archisemiotics,the form(signifier) is variable while the meaning(signified) is invariable.The author holds that a perfect architecture is not composed of arbitrary padding of signs.The intention is more important than the extension in the meaning of an architectural sign.Grasp of the exact meaning for the scheme is the key to decide whether the design will succeed,and the appropriate choice of "signifier" which have visual impact is also another key factor.In architectural design,we need to distinguish meaning from the form,grab the meaning first,and then choose forms,lest get into the trouble of mannerism.
